Approved carrier access

Approved capacity providers hauling freight posted by Landstar’s agents. Carrier qualification is required for the network’s load-board access.

The current carrier page directs applicants to Highway. Obtain the qualification requirements for your business and equipment before relying on board access.

Landstar also has a separate lease-on program for owner-operators, called BCOs. Its revenue-percentage pay and program benefits should not be assumed for third-party carriers.

Find freight for your truck

Search origin and destination areas, radius, pickup and delivery dates, mileage and maximum stops. Actual availability depends on the posted freight.

The public search includes trailer groups, weight and dimensions, plus team, hazardous-material and just-in-time filters. A matching search is not carrier approval.

LandstarOne shows load revenue, rate per mile, dates, weight, miles, posting age and comments. Read the full details before arranging the truck.

Approved carriers can post available trucks and match their capacity with Landstar agents’ freight.

Load Alerts can notify a phone about freight matching the carrier’s criteria.

Confirm the load and its terms

Landstar’s site terms say independent agents supply load information and direct users to confirm its completeness and accuracy with the agent.

Confirm the load with the posting agent and obtain the applicable written terms. The website’s inquiry mechanisms do not create a binding service contract.

The site terms do not replace carrier agreements. The public pages examined do not establish a complete current board-fee, termination or accessorial-payment schedule.

LandstarOne and fuel tools

LandstarOne is listed as a free download. This does not establish every charge under a carrier or payment agreement.

Approved third-party carriers can use LandstarOne for load search and fuel-price information.

LandstarOne lists current, upcoming and past booked loads in one place.

The third-party-carrier app announcement describes nearby fuel-price searches and SavingsPlus discounts, including a view net of IFTA credits.

The app description identifies trip advances, card balance, agent search and inspection-site tools as additional BCO features. Do not assume they come with third-party carrier access.

Pay2Day and SavingsPlus

The linked SavingsPlus page advertises two-day electronic settlement to its card for a 1.5% fee. Confirm current enrollment terms; this is a payment-service fee.

The enrollment page requires a signed contract and authorization. After account confirmation, it describes invoice payments within two business days.

The linked page lists no card setup or monthly fee and free fuel transactions. Pay2Day’s percentage charge is separate. Confirm the current fee schedule when enrolling.

SavingsPlus enrollment requires a letter of release when currently factoring. The enrollment page says starting factoring later cancels the SavingsPlus account.

Paperwork and scanning costs

The linked guide calls for an invoice, rate confirmation, signed delivery paperwork and receipts for extra charges. Include the freight bill or EL number and keep the submission confirmation.

The linked guide lists a $2 deduction per load for Transflo Mobile+. Truck-stop scanning is listed at $2 with a cover sheet or $2.50 without. Confirm the current submission method and fees.
